Entheogen Transformation

Entheogen translates from ancient Greek as “becoming divine from within”. As a long-time student of mushrooms and of the world of the gods, I am deeply immersed in and inspired by this still unexplored subject. I was lucky enough to meet these remarkable beings once, and I assure you that in many ways they are wiser than we are. I believe that in the near future many people will discover their world and find a union of mystical and human experience, and I felt it my duty to pass on this experience in the form of a painting.

The girl is shown upside down, a sign that this is an entirely different world into which we can only glance. The circles across the whole canvas are mushroom spores. The colours are as contrasting as possible, because under certain conditions the human eye can perceive astonishing, vivid combinations.
