Bearer of Knowledge

The painting has no religious overtones. It only shows that the seeker of knowledge always walks a difficult path, treading, as it were, on black matter and lighting the way for himself and for those who meet him. To do that, he must constantly deal with people who go through life automatically, without awareness of their own actions.

Three men are depicted: two asleep and a third regaining his sight. Perhaps I showed it too simply, with light streaming from the eyes of the main figure, but that is how I wanted to convey my idea of spiritual growth.
