Labyrinth of Ideas

Did you know that at certain times snakes gather in one place and coil into a single tangle? This incredible sight reminds me of a tangle of thoughts and ideas: sometimes you cannot tell where a thought is and where it is not, and the mind needs conscious, controlled thinking.

Here I have painted a labyrinth of juicy strokes in which, between the intertwined lines, you can just make out human faces. To the untrained eye they are barely visible. With green and yellow I try to bring the viewer’s thoughts into harmony.
